The Hairdressers’ Charity actively encourage you and your team to organise your own fundraising events as it’s a great way to have lots of fun and raise lots of money for hairdressers who need it most.

Our volunteers and supporters also run a variety of events to help hairdressers in need. Please come along and support your industry charity.

Scottish Golf Day

Affinage are running a charity trek in Wales. Join the team to take on the Brecon Beacons challenge, and help raise money for The Hairdressers’ Charity. A number of the Affinage head office team, Managing Director and Founder Eric Bailey will be taking part in The Affinage Brecon Beacons Trek in Wales.

Scottish Golf Day

For over 15 years L’Oreal have been a dedicated sponsor of The Hairdressers’ Charity and through the years, have spent many hours raising money for the charity. L’Oreal Citizens Day has always been a massive success and gets the whole team involved with volunteering to raise money for us, and other worthy causes.

 Helping Hairdressers Day

This year we will be hosting the third Helping Hairdressers Day, on 30th June 2017, the last Friday of the month, with an all-things purple theme. Read our blog to find out more and how you can get involved.

 Colour trilogy

Colour Trilogy is a new education platform that delivers three elements of education in just one session. On 3rd July 2017 the Colour triology team will be hosting a seminar in aid of The Hairdressers’ Charity.

 SHABA

2017 Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards (SHABA) will be taking place 10th September 2017, now in it’s 7th year, there will be a collection held on behalf of The Hairdressers’ Charity. The competition is open to individuals and salons operating in Scotland. There are 30 titles to be won across a range of Hair, Beauty, Aesthetics, Barbering, Make up Artistry and Businesses. For more information please visit the SHABA website.

Places cost £400 for four nights (Sunday 24th to Thursday 28th September) and include all food and drinks, transfers from Bologna (one hour), free sun beds on a private beach, top carbon fibre hire bikes, support vehicle, three guides for mixed ability and bespoke routes. And free laundry for smelly cycle gear each evening!
