This new charity bike ride has been designed in the mecca of cycling, as it’s the home of the legendary, Marco Pantani, and the ride can cater to all levels of cycling, not just the serious ones who undertook last year’s adventure. On the Italian coast, the immediate cycling is flat and yet 20km inland the hills start so it’s ideal for mixed ability groups.
Places cost £400 for four nights (Sunday 24th to Thursday 28th September 2017) and includes food and drinks on a half board basis, transfers from Bologna (one hour) to Hotel Riz in the beautiful harbour town of Cesanatico, free sun beds on a private beach, top carbon fibre hire bikes, support vehicle, three guides for mixed ability and bespoke routes. And also free laundry for smelly cycle gear each evening!
There will be three expert local bikes guides who will create fun, challenging and rewarding rides, touring beautiful scenic routes. The rides will vary between the different abilities within the group, with gently undulating coastal roads, to very full-on adventures, into the foothills and beyond.
There are only 50 places and they are going fast.
In addition to the costs above, you would need to organise your own flights and we would require a minimum donation of £250 to the charity.
£400 trip + flights + £250 minimum donation to the charity.
